This series started in February 1995 and it is one of the earliest Piccolo re-issued.

This particular one was part of the Schuco Store display which was issued in May 2000 and carries the distinctive red # 8 on white background.

Normally this piccolo is available only complete with display and three other Piccolo's, now also available loose.

The set was a limited edition of 3,000 pcs.
