The Quality Rating Explained

As no two vintage items, whether toys or any other antiques, are the same, we use a quality rating to give an indication of how good or how bad an vintage Piccolo is, this next to the description of the flaws that you will find in the item description itself.

We use the following the following ratings:

DM	Dead Mint. There is absolutely no flaw to be discovered on this item, no paint chips, no chafing, no box rub, nothing. Models in this condition are very, very rare and surface seldomly. Must be original without any signs of restoration / touchup.
M	Mint. The model is almost mint but is just not good enough to be dead mint. Might have some box rub for example but no paint chips. Must be original without any signs of restoration / touchup.
NM	Near Mint. The model is almost mint but might have some absolutely minute flaws like a pin-head-sized paint chip in a spot where it is hardly noticed. Must be original without any signs of restoration / touchup.
EX	Excellent. The model is in excellent condition but might have have some minor flaws. No parts missing. Must be original without any signs of restoration / touchup.
VG	Very good. Usually a scarce model which is hard to find in any condition. Does have flaws, usually paint chips, but is in very presentable condition considering the rarity of it. Might have been professionally restored.
F	Fair. Models with this designation usually have been played with and have a number of paint chips but are too good to be considered a restoration project. Might have been restored / touched-up.
RP	Restoration Project. These models are not good enough for decent display anymore and require either completion as parts are missing and/or repainting or might have been repainted badly. These can be found in a separate section.

None of the above ratings is "absolute" of course as beauty is in the eye of the beholder so let the pictures speak for themselves. Each model has a good number of pictures showing the model from all possible angles and nothing is done to hide the possible flaws.
